+Heifer Living Gift Market - Sunday, November 23rd

Mark your calendars!!! Our third Annual Heifer Living Gift Market is coming soon!

Sunday, November 23rd from noon-2PM.  Come join us to - learn about alternative gift

giving, enjoy the company of lots of friendly farm animals, symbolically purchase animals

as gifts for friends and family members, and help an impoverished family help themselves,

AND have a world famous Joby Pierce hotdog AND witness and enjoy the return of St. Paul's

own two-man hot chocolate team. Where can you do all this?  Probably have to travel to a

big city?  Pay a huge cover charge?  Nope. It's all going to go down right here at St. Paul's

Church on our upper lot.  Don't miss it.  Really, you don't want to miss it.

+ Annual Thanksgiving project- All the feathers have been taken to help Athens Headstart

families with their Thanksgiving meals.  Please bring gift certificates to the church by Sunday,

November 23rd….or take food to the Head Start office by Monday, November 24th.  A big thank

you to all who participated in this great project!

+St. Paul's Church is a sponsor of the Athens Parks/Athens YMCA Turkey Trot 5k/1 mile

Fun Run/Walk this year.  This fun family event will take place at the Athens Regional Park on

Saturday, November 22nd at 10AM.  We are going to gather with other churches and various

neighbors from our local community to run and walk and carry on to promote health and wellness

a few days before we gorge on Turkey and Thanksgiving trimmings.  Come and Join Us!  St. Paul's

Parish is putting together a team.  The church has paid the team fee.  Don't want to run?  Fine!

Come walk, crawl, skip, hobble, whatever, just come join us!  Registration forms are in the

church office.

+Many thanks to all who contributed to help the homeless and needy in Chattanooga.

We collected enough clothes and blankets to keep them warm as they face the winter.  Thank you

so much for your help!

+The Youth group will be hosting a special Advent Kid's Night Out on Friday, Dec. 5, at

St. Paul’s.  Children grades K-6 are invited to come celebrate the coming of our Savior through

crafts, snacks, videos, and of course, the Christmas story.  The event lasts from 5:00pm until

9:00pm, giving parents a free 'night out' for shopping, entertainment, etc.  Children will be

supervised by the Youth Group and adult volunteers.  A pizza dinner is provided for the children

as well.  Please contact David Baer (rustybaer@comcast.net or at 333-0215) if you have any

questions… and make sure to sign your child up at either church office by December 1st.
